    Copied when it can be

    If the soundtrack is already in the format you choose, it is copied across bit for bit rather than re-encoded. Otherwise it is encoded again: FLAC and WAV keep up to 24-bit sound without loss, while MP3, M4A, OGG and OPUS use high quality settings that sound close to the original but are not identical to it. OPUS is always 48 kHz and MP3 holds two channels at 48 kHz at most, so a soundtrack beyond those limits is converted to fit.
