Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies SuperFastFiles ("SuperFastFiles", "we", "us" or "our") uses on the website at superfastfiles.com: what each one is for, who provides it, how long it lasts, and how you can accept, refuse or change them. Every item is listed by name in Section 4. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.

Words such as "Site", "Tool", "File" and "Account" have the meanings given to them in our Terms & Conditions.

1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, and that are sent back to the website, or to the service that set them, when you visit again. Websites can also keep information in your browser's local storage, which lasts until it is deleted, and in its session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. In this policy, "cookies" covers all three.

Cookies stored on the Site's own domain, superfastfiles.com, are first-party cookies, whether the Site's own code or a service built into it sets them. Cookies that a service stores on its own domain, such as Google on doubleclick.net, are third-party cookies.

2. Your Choice and How to Change It

When you first visit the Site, a banner asks which optional cookies you accept. You can accept all of them, reject all of them, or choose category by category under "Customize". Until you choose, and whenever you reject them, only necessary cookies are used: no optional cookie is set, and none of the code that sets advertising cookies is loaded.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it: use "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page, the round cookie button in the bottom corner of wide screens, or the button below. When you turn a category off, the items listed for it in Section 4 that are stored on the Site's own domain are deleted from your browser at once.

Your choice is kept in your browser for 12 months. After that, or if we change the categories in this policy, we ask you again.

3. The Categories We Use

3.1 Necessary

Always on. These make the Site work and keep it secure: they keep you signed in, remember a password reset you have started, let Google's sign-in button work on the log-in and sign-up pages, and remember your cookie choice. They are not used to track you or for advertising, and they cannot be switched off in the cookie settings, because the Site, or the feature you are using, cannot work without them.

3.2 Functional

Optional, and off until you turn them on. These remember things for you on your device, so that you do not have to repeat them: the languages you use in Translate Document and whether its page preview is on; a document conversion that is still running when you leave its page, so that you can come back to it; and, when you import from Google Drive, which Google account you used and Google's temporary permission. They are set and read only by the Site's own code, and they are not used to track you or for advertising.

3.3 Advertising

Optional, and off until you turn them on. These let Google measure our advertising and how the Site is used and, once we show ads, show and measure them:

  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tells us whether people who see or click our ads on Google go on to visit and use the Site, and lets Google show our ads again to people who have visited it.
  • Google Analytics receives information about your visits through the same Google tag, such as which pages you view, how you arrived and what kind of device you use, so that we can see how the Site is used as a whole.
  • Google AdSense is how we plan to show ads, to keep the Tools free. No ads are shown at the date of this policy, but with this category on, its code is loaded and checks that traffic to the Site is genuine.

Google may also use this information for its own purposes, including to personalize ads, as it explains in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. With this category off, none of this code is loaded.

This is everything the Site, and the services built into it, store in your browser. "Google" means Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, and Google LLC for users elsewhere (Section 5).

The lifetimes are the longest each item is kept. Your browser may keep cookies for less time: Chrome, for example, keeps no cookie for longer than 400 days.

Nothing else is stored: apart from the items above, no Tool stores anything in your browser. Our website hosting provider measures how quickly pages load without storing anything in your browser, and the program code that some Tools load from public content delivery networks stores nothing either.

5. Third Parties

  • Google. Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google AdSense (Advertising) and Sign in with Google (Necessary) are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, and by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA, for users elsewhere, including the United Kingdom. Google uses the information it collects under its own Privacy Policy and describes its cookies in How Google uses cookies. You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center.
  • Supabase. Supabase, Inc. is our authentication provider. It sets no cookies on the Site: the session it issues when you sign in is kept by the Site in sff-auth (Necessary).
  • Google and Dropbox windows. Google's sign-in window and Google Drive file picker, and Dropbox's file chooser, open only when you use them. Google and Dropbox run them on their own domains, with their own cookies, under their own policies.

6. If You Decline

Every Tool works whatever you choose. If you reject the optional categories:

  • Functional off: a conversion run by PDF to Word, Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, PowerPoint to PDF, PDF to PowerPoint, Compress PDF, Password Protect PDF or Unlock PDF cannot be picked up again once you close or leave its page, so keep the page open until you have downloaded the result. Translate Document does not remember your recent languages or its preview setting between pages and visits. Google Drive import asks Google for permission again on each page, and Google may ask you to choose your account each time.
  • Advertising off: nothing on the Site changes for you. Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google AdSense are not loaded, so we cannot measure our advertising or your visits with them, and once we show ads, you will not see AdSense ads on the Site.

Necessary cookies cannot be turned off in the cookie settings. If you block them in your browser instead (Section 7), you will not be able to sign in or stay signed in, a password reset starts again if you reload its page, Sign in with Google may not work, and the cookie banner appears on every page, because your choice cannot be remembered.

7. Browser Settings

Most browsers let you block cookies, delete them, or be warned before they are set, usually in their privacy or site settings, and clearing a site's data there also removes its local and session storage. Browser settings act on all of a site's cookies, or on all cookies of one kind, such as third-party cookies, at once. They cannot tell a necessary cookie from an optional one, so they cannot give you the control by category that our cookie settings do, and blocking all of the Site's cookies also blocks the necessary ones (Section 6).

You can also opt out of personalized advertising by many advertising companies at Your Online Choices in Europe, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the United States, and stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits to any website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add, remove or change a cookie, a category or a provider. The updated policy will be posted on this page, with a new "Last updated" date at the top. If we add a category, or want to use cookies for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent again before using them.

9. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for the personal data processed through the cookies and similar technologies described in this policy is:

Moaz Sabsoub
Mersin, Türkiye
Email: support@superfastfiles.com

SuperFastFiles is the name under which Moaz Sabsoub operates the Site and the Service. Where Google uses information collected through its cookies for its own purposes, Google is responsible for that use under its own privacy policy (Section 5).

For any question about this policy or the cookies we use, contact us at support@superfastfiles.com. Email is the only method of contact for the Service.
